Mission Codename 16 Generations
That Radici was gone faster than a toupee in a hurricane! Wash it down with an outstanding rosé!
Pinot Noir makes the ultimate rosé if you dig fruitiness! The Clément-Châtenoy clan’s been growing top-notch Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in Menetou-Salon since 1560, NOT a TYPO. That’s 16 generations of viticulture and winemaking for you, how is that for experience?
A stunning bright pink that manages to be radiant and elegant at the same time. Dried pear, apple crisp and candied citrus that are reminiscent of fine Burgundy. Fruity and spicy with cherry, currant, crystallized ginger, dried sage, and tarragon. Seductively creamy on the refined and intense finish with lingering mineral hints. This absolutely brilliant example would make a cut of sockeye sing to new levels.
We grabbed the very last few cases of this crisp, delicately pure rosé of Pinot Noir for you at over 40% off so you just can’t go wrong here.
Here’s what the wine press has to say:
Excellent! – Antonio Galloni’s Vinous - “Pale orange. Red currant, tangerine and a subtle floral nuance on the mineral-inflected nose. Taut and focused on the palate, offering tangy red fruit and citrus zest flavors that show a refreshingly bitter edge. Finishes with firm bite and spicy cut, leaving a suggestion of cherry pit behind. A strong wine with true character that provides highly enjoyable drinking.”
