Located in Santa Barbara County, this is the southern-most vineyard that we’ve worked with. Planted by Pinot Noir pioneer, Richard Sanford, this gorgeous coastal vineyard delivers what people love about Pinot Noir from Santa Rita Hills. It starts with eucalyptus and spearmint notes which lead into lovely blackberry flavors. We’ve made wine from this vineyard since 2007 and have found it to produce some of the most age-worthy wines we’ve ever made.
Since 2006 Furthermore has been obsessively making California Pinot Noir. We started by partnering with world-class growers. In 2011 we added our first estate vineyard, Nevina’s Vineyard, a Sonoma Coast gem located just 6 miles from the pacific. In 2015 we acquired our own little slice of the world-famous Russian River Valley with Graton Ridge Vineyard. Our focus on single-vineyard Pinot Noirs from top California AVAs, makes Furthermore a unique study of the enchanting diversity of California’s coastal Pinot Noirs.
Our philosophy is simple: low-impact, hand-crafted, small-batch production allows the vineyards to speak for themselves.
