Winemaking Notes
The 2016 vintage was another near perfection growing season with idyllic weather throughout the year. Harvest was a bit earlier than usual, and yields were balanced. Most importantly, the quality of fruit was once again impressive, marked by complex aromatics and flavors for this highly-coveted wine.
Tasting Notes
Dark ruby in color, with layered aromatics of raspberry, crushed violets and cola. The vibrant palate unfolds with tart cherry and strawberry preserves that mingle with earthiness, followed by well-integrated oak notes and subtle vanilla.
