Mission Codename The Grandest Napa
Special Alert: We expect today’s Grand Napa wine to be our best-selling wine yet from this Wine Spies Operative-favorite winery.
Today’s wine was the standout hit from our recent tasting panel. Everyone on the panel was unanimous in declaring that this wine was the best of the 20+ wines we had tasted that day.
When we learned that wine critic James Suckling was reviewing today’s Grand Napa Wine 2016 Rutherford Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, we grabbed up as many cases as we could. This wine is so excellent that we anticipate that mister Suckling will issue a score of 93 points or higher. We know that we would!
This Cabernet is a dense, dark garnet encircled by a ring of purple. The nose is fragrant with all the trimmings of a rich Napa Cabernet with aromas of tobacco, plum, sandalwood, potpourri, and dried roses. On the palate, it’s just loaded with cacao, caramel, and cola joining wonderful fruit notes of blueberry, blackberry, and plum. This wine is velvety smooth, with bold fruit, round tannin, and an extremely refined mouthfeel. Kudos to the winemaker. Hands down, this is the necessary companion for your next steak dinner.
Grab some of this superb wine - before the price goes up, making the wine unattainable for most people.
