Mission Codename Dangerous Curves
We have another great Super Spy Sunday Selection for you today, dear Operative. Today we have a small production, limited availability wine that’ll rock your socks. We have every last bottle of the winery’s flagship red blend, the Jettlynn 2014 “Cuvee-ceous” Paso Robles Red Wine.
We first featured a Jettlynn wine earlier this year. Our Operatives went bonkers for it and we sold out in short order. Today’s Super Spy Sunday Selection is also expected to sell out, so don’t dilly dally, pick some up before we run out. This 3-barrel production wine is one of the winery’s most popular.
This blend is such a deep dark garnet it appears almost black with a purple sheen reflecting off its surface. The nose is port-like with walnut, desiccated plum fruit, with a surprising mint quality. It also has black tea, cardamom aromas. It’s got an Old Vine Zin quality with vanilla, bramble, dried red cherries, leather, and smoky tobacco leaf. Drinks a lot like a Zin too, with a lighter body, some grippy tannin, big fruit and a kick in the butt. Would be perfect with some well-cooked pork tenderloin with the skin slightly charred.
Will you be fast enough to grab some for yourself?
