Mission Codename CaliAuxerrois
We adore this delicious steal of a wine. If you don’t agree, we’ll buy it back from you - and drink it ourselves!
Deerfield Alert: Today’s Mega QPR (Quality to Price Ratio) wine was produced at Deerfield Ranch Winery, under the watchful eye of Deerfield’s Robert Rex.
Bruce Patch returns, with another divine offering. You may remember Bruce and his wines from his former Wine Guerrilla label. Today, Bruce returns with an absolutely gorgeous California Malbec, his rich, delicious Bruce Patch Wines 2014 Woolard Vineyard Sonoma Valley Malbec.
On the nose, this wine is rich and full, with aromas of burnished plum, kola nut, black cherry, black currant, sweet tobacco leaf, brown spice and grilled mission fig. On the palate, this wine shows off rich notes of black cherry, burnished plum, orange pekoe tea leaf, seasoned leather, dried cranberry, soft spice, coffee bean and kola nut.
Enjoy!

Here’s what the wine press has to say.
Michelle Williams - Rockin Red Blog - “Bright violet with deep purple hues; baked blackberries and plums, wet tobacco leaves, dark chocolate, hint of roasted coffee beans, dried violets, baking spice, and trailing vanilla; on the palate the fruit becomes more red berries wrapped in dusty earth, a nice balance of tannins and acidity wrap the mouth, lighter in body than expected, long dusty finish.”
