Mission Codename Eternal Sunshine
We know, we know… It is about time that we showed a Viognier on these pages. Well, today we have a doozy!
Today’s Croze 2015 Phoenix Ranch Napa Valley Viognier is a balanced, refreshing, aromatic wine that we here at Wine Spies HQ are simply crazy about. This wine is expected to sell out, so please reserve yours soon.
Really pretty on the nose, with aromas of Asian pear, fresh white flowers, white peach, pineapple, pear, creamed honey, lemon zest, subtle white spice and a hint of lemon curd.
Bright and fresh on the palate, bursting with delicious flavors of Ataulfo mango, pineapple, yellow peach, lemon curd, creamed honey, lemon zest, very subtle white spice and wet river rock.
Very highly recommended… and be sure to keep some on hand for the Fall holidays!

Here’s what the wine press has to say:
90 points - James Suckling - “A little lean with light chocolate, plum and currant character. Hints of walnuts. Medium body, firm tannins and a medium finish. Yet this still shows some tension. Drink now or hold.”
