Mission Codename Miro is my Hero
Our long-time Operatives know just how much we adore the wines of Miro Tcholakov. Miro’s wines have graced our pages a few dozen times these last 8 years.
Why? Because his wines are uniformly superb.
Today’s Miro Cellars 2014 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is a Ultra QPR (Quality to Price Ratio) gem that we are just crazy about. At today’s price, this wine is an absolute steal.
Classic Anderson Valley aromatics with wild strawberry, Bing cherry, black tea and blackberry. Additional aromas include raspberry candy, caramel, subtle sweet spice, subtle oak and a hint of dewy bramble.
Flavors burst onto the palate, with bold Bing cherry, blackberry compote, plum, wild strawberry, black tea, wild mushroom, slate mineral and subtle spice.
Supply is limited so please be sure to acquire enough to last you throughout the year.
Enjoy this very highly recommended wine!

Here’s what the wine press has to say:
91 points - Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast - “Appealing fruit aromas and flavors join a velvety texture in this medium-bodied and beautifully shaped wine. It doesn’t go to extremes, but has just enough ripeness and freshness to find an elegant balance.”
