This wine is, hands down, the finest, most elegant and ready to drink 2014 Napa Cabs we’ve tasted. Truth be told, we’ve tasted - and rejected - quite a few cabs so far. Those wines just weren’t ready to be shown.

Today’s wine, however, is. This Classically-styled Napa Cabernet Sauvignon has stolen our hearts.

Your introduction to this wine is an explosion of aromas on the nose, with black cherry, spiced blackberry jam, cassis, violets, blueberry, mocha, sweetwood and mixed spice.

Flavors dance onto the palate, with rich, juicy, Napa-classic flavors of cassis, blackberry, blueberry preserve, black cherry, mocha, tobacco, toasty oak, leather, mixed spice and black pepper.

This is a wine that we encourage you to sip and savor all on its own, unpacking aromas and flavors as the wine opens up.

This wine is incredibly good now, yet will continue to improve and evolve for the next 5 to 7 years, maybe even longer. At this low price, we encourage you to stock up.

A fleshy and refined mid-palate leads to a medium length finish, full of balanced acid and minerality. A silky wine with a dense core and bold tannin structure. Not super flashy but it sure does over-deliver at price per quality in the glass. Decant now and drink over the next 5 years.”
