Mission Codename Get a grip!
We don’t usually showcase many sub-$20 wines, but we just couldn’t resist showing you today’s Grip Wines 2012 Red Wine.
This wine was made by our friend, Chris Cutler, who we met when he held a post at Swanson Vineyards. Surprisingly complex for a wine of this price, we are thrilled to offer it to you today.
Inviting and dark on the nose, with aromas of black cherry, grilled cherry, dark chocolate, Santa Rosa plum, dark chocolate powder, toasted oak, and a hint of spice.
Really juicy and yummy, with flavors of juicy cherry, raspberry, cranberry, strawberry, cigar box, earthy bramble and soft spice.
Chris and his partners set out to make wines that thrilled - at a price that allows you to have plenty on hand. Bring some with you to your next dinner party and your hosts will be none the wiser that you spent so little. Be sure to keep plenty on hand for those Tuesday night spaghetti dinners too!
Enjoy!
