Mission Codename The Feast Basket
Special Note: Today’s wine was made by Miro Tcholakov, who is one of our most popular winemakers.
We have another budget-priced wine for you from our friends at Mihila Kawna. You’ll recall that this winery is a sister label of Bellacana, who our best-selling budget white of the year, last year.
Today’s 2012 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, an easy drinking, flavorful wine that is pleasing and delicious.
Sweet aromas waft from the glass, lead by Bing cherry juice, black berry, violet, sweet spice, chocolate, vanilla, toasty oak and a hint of graphite.
On the palate, bold blackberry, chocolate covered cherry, spice box, pencil shavings, dried violet, cranberry, tobacco leaf, baker’s chocolate, and dusty bramble.
This rich and layered Cabernet was made by our old pal, Miro Tcholakov, who named himself Agent KGB. We’ve been featuring the wines of Miro Cellars for the last ten years. They are always best-sellers and our Operatives tend to scoop them up quickly. Miro doesn’t make any wines that are priced this low, so if you’re a fan of Miro’s wines, here’s a chance to stock up.
Drinking beautifully now. Enjoy through at least 2020.
