A marvelous opaque ruby color. The wine exhibits a provocative nose of crème de cassis, coconut, dill, blackberry, black cherry, and sage. The aromas follow right into the wine’s delicious core of black fruit, dried herb, scorched earth, and vanilla flavors.

A full-bodied mid-palate carries the wine into a long, velvety finish. The wine’s subtly gripping tannins and underlying vein of acidity suggest that it will age well for at least 7 – 8 years.
