Romeo Vineyards 2009 Sempre Vive Petit Verdot

Romeo Vineyards 2009 Sempre Vive Petit Verdot

Mission Codename Befits the dark

Brace yourself… for one of the best Petite Verdots you’ll ever try!

Today’s Romeo Vineyards 2009 Sempre Vive Petit Verdot was made by Alison Green Doran, who was mentored early in her career by wine legends Andre Tchelistcheff (of Beaulieu Vineyards fame) and Mary Ann Graff, who was the first woman to be hired by a major California winery (SIMI).

Alison’s considerable talent is apparent at the first sip of this silky, flavor-packed, balanced and delightful wine.

Very aromatic, with perfume of black cherry, black currant, cured meats, violets, blackberry reduction, grilled fig, dark chocolate, dried fall leaves, soft spice and tobacco.

Dark, dense flavors spill onto the palate, with smoky black cherry, molasses, blackberry preserve, plum, grilled Mission fig, baker’s chocolate, smoky spice, dried meat, dark tobacco and black pepper.

Enjoy this wine with our heartiest recommendation. We absolutely love this wine and we’re confident that you will, too.
