Today’s Champ de Reves Vineyards 2011 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is a stunningly delicious and aromatic Anderson Valley Pinot Noir that drinks like a much more expensive wine (that’s our little secret).

We’ve tasted a number of Pinots recently, but this is the one that had us reaching for more.

This is high elevation Anderson Valley Pinot Noir at its best. Lots of lively fruit characteristics with an excellent balance of earthy notes and a soft mouth feel. Fun to drink by itself but also an excellent food wine. The name of the wine translates to “Field of Dreams” and the vineyards really come through as a dreamy glass of wine.

Robert Parker awarded today’s wine 90 Points, and it’s not hard to see why. If you’re looking for an incredible Pinot that won’t drain your wallet in the process, this is the wine for you.
