Mission Codename The Purple Nobility
Today’s Noble Vines 2005 High Valley Petite Sirah is stunning. This aged-to-perfection wine was just recently deemed ready for release by the winery.
This beautiful wine has plenty of character. Fruit, earth and spice all work together in perfect balance to deliver a bold, flavorful wine that is packed with flavor.
Bold, juicy aromas jump from the glass, with blackberry jam, blueberry preserve, cherry tobacco, cigar box, sweet spice, dried meat, leather, spice and a hint of graphite.
On the palate, the wine is rich and balanced - yet powerful, with balanced flavors of black cherry juice, blackberry jam, smoky blueberry, dried cherry, dried cranberry, grilled plum, sweet tobacco leaf, cocoa dust, graphite, mixed spice and black pepper.
Winemaker David Lattin, currently head of winemaking for Kuleto Estate Winery made today’s wine. David’s 30 year career has seen him turning out hit after hit for Kuleto, Storybook Mountain, Acacia (where he was both general manager and winemaker) , Merus Winery and Noble Wines.
The best wine we’ve ever tried by David is today’s Noble Petite Sirah. No kidding.
We don’t see too many aged wines that still have so much life left in them. Today’s fantastic Petite easily has another 7 years in it. Maybe more!
Remember, we offer FREE Temperature-Controlled shipping during the hot summer months. Add optional ice packs if your local area is hot, and your wine will arrive in great condition!
