Mission Codename The Grand Essential
Every Sunday, we strive to bring you and Elite level wine at a really fantastic price. Our nealry nine years in the wine trade means that we’ve established deep and lasting relationships with some of the finest wineries in the world. They love us enough to grant us exclusive access to their wines…
…which we gleefully pass along to you!
Today’s featured wine hails from Grand Napa Wines and boy, did we win big with their extraordinary 2009 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.
This wine is simply extraordinary - and very, very elegant.
Leather and spice and dark fruit on the nose, with raspberry preserve, blueberry, plum, supple leather, pipe tobacco, spice box, licorice and subtle black pepper.
Flavors perfectly echo the nose, with the addition of graphite, plum skin, cedar, and flint.
This very highly recommended wine is a ready-to-drink delight that will continue to age elegantly for the next several years. Be careful, though. We think that once you taste your first bottle, you won’t be able to resist drinking the rest.
