This wine immediately seduces with aromas of spice, brown sugar, ripe red fruit and black fruit. As it unfolds, it reveal layers of graham cracker, ripe cherries, black currant, turned earth and iodine. The palate is rich and firmly textured, bright and balanced with a long cocoa laced finish.

Serious but friendly, the wine is best enjoyed in the near term; decanted, or over the next 20 years of cellaring.
