Mission Codename Lofty Ideals
Welcome to another Super Spy Sunday! For today’s elite-level wine offering, you’ll enjoy over 44% off on the impressive 95 point flagship wine from our friends at Deering Wine. Today only - and only while it lasts - we have their Deering Wine 2009 Sonoma Valley Ideal.
We first featured Deering in 2013. Back then they became an instant hit with our Operatives. Unfortunately, this small-production winery usually sells all of their wine directly to wine club members, leaving very little for wine merchants like us.
When Agent Red learned that they were sitting on a cache of their 95 point flagship red, he hightailed it to the winery to do some begging. He was successful, but the winery only had a limited number of cases. Lucky for you, he absconded with every last case.
Bold blueberry, blackberry and red currant leap from the glass on opening. As the wine opens up, it reveals cherry candy, raspberry jam, sweet tobacco leaf, cigar box and sweet spice.
Juicy and bursting with concentrated flavors of blackberry and cherry juice that coat the palate. As the wine settles onto the palate, additional flavors begin to appear, including dried dark flower petals, plum, cedar, baker’s chocolate, sweet spice and freshly ground black pepper.
Today’s wine is Very highly recommended!
