Mission Codename Kings of Dijon
Today’s Lennox Vineyards 2013 Russian River Valley Chardonnay is one flavorful, bright, food-friendly and delicious steal of a wine. At today’s price of just $15.99, you are practically stealing this great wine. Just be sure to keep enough on hand to last you through the holidays, this is one perfect Thanksgiving wine.
We had the great fortune to showcase another Lennox wine, earlier this year. Our Operatives, it seems, went crazy for the wine. In short order, we sold out of every last bottle that we had in stock. For today’s wine, we managed to get our hands on a few more cases, but at today’s price, we anticipate an early sell out.
On the nose, this wine is bright and fresh, with Meyer lemon, lime leaf, lime flower, dried hay, river rock, acacia flowers, honeysuckle and subtle oak. Juicy and bursting with flavors of Meyer lemon, lemon curd, lime, lime leaf, river rock, pineapple, apricot, dried white rose petal, white peach with a touch of oak and a hint of white pepper.
