Today’s wine was awarded a 99 point score from wine educator, scholar and Master Sommelier Catherine Fallis. Catherine tasted this wine at a recent blind tasting that pitted several Zins against each other. This wine was the decisive winner, beating out wines of up to three times the price.

On the nose, generous and fragrant, with bold blackberry, blueberry, cassis and wild strawberry preserve. Just beneath these, sweet spice, tobacco and black pepper add great balance. On the palate, this wine is jammy and bold with flavors that mirror the nose. Add to these subtle aromas of dusty bramble and dried leaves.
