Deerfield @Merlot is a blend of the Bordeaux varietals: Malbec to enhance the black berry flavors at the back of your palate, Cabernet Sauvignon to give it a long finish, Cabernet Franc to give it lift and Petit Verdot to fill in the bottom palate.

The wine has a rich fusion of flavors, layered complexity and a long finish. It will hold your interest like no other Merlot. The Mendocino coastal vineyards benefit from the cooling influence of the morning fog and produces a Merlot that is less aggressive and mellow.
