Mission Codename The air Athair
Warning: Our supply of today’s Athair Wines 2013 Sonoma Coast Sangiacomo Vineyard Pinot Noir is very limited.
This delicious, elegant Pinot Noir is a wonder. On the nose, it is incredibly heady and aromatic. It leads with candied black cherry, Bing cherry, crushed rose petals, cedar and cherry bark. As the wine breathes, it reveals more subtle aromas of spice, dried wild mushroom, summer forest and dried violets.
On the palate, the wine is classic Sonoma Coast, with bold, all over the mouth flavors of black cherry, kola and toasty cedar out in front. Just behind these follow flavors of red plum, red currant, dried rose petals, flint and subtle sweet spice.
If you’ve ever had the great good fortune to have tasted a Sangiacomo Pinot Noir, we promise that you’ll delight at Athair’s elegant, delicious interpretation.
