Mission Codename Motivated Passions
Today’s Tristant Vineyards 2008 Mirifice Reserve Red Wine is a blend of 75% estate grown high end Merlot, 20% Napa Valley hillside Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Calistoga Napa Valley Petite Verdot.
The primary component in this wine, the Merlot, is grown under top secret contract for wineries like [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. Bill Tristant reserves a few select rows for his own namesake wines. Today’s wine is made mostly from that same Merlot. The rest comes from other luxury vineyard sources in the Napa Valley.
The wine itself is made at the Benessere Vineyard, a long time Wine Spies favorite.
If you are looking for a high-dollar drinking experience at one steal of a price, look no further. Just act quickly, before we sell out.
