Mission Codename Petar's Kuki Pinot
We recently showcased Kukeri’s 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, and it got rave reviews from our Operatives. So when we tasted the Kukeri Wines 2013 Pinot Noir, we knew it had to be featured here. Its silky texture and complex structure jumped out to our tasting panel as the perfect pair to a steak dinner.
Winemaker Petar Kirilov trained at Truchard, and he displays the same expertise with Pinot as he does with Kukeri’s Cabernet Sauvignon. Petar is an experienced winemaker who has also made great wines for Meadowcroft and Foyt. He knows his craft and this Pinot proves it.
With only 3 barrels produced, there are only 78 cases of this wine in the world. We strongly recommend one of them be yours. Then invite your friends over for a night around the firepit.
