A few thoughts from the winemaker:

Our style of wine is intended to be very site-specific in flavors and aromatics. My philosophy of winemaking is to simply assist and enhance the flavors of the fruit from the vineyard. At the winery, my goal is to try and capture that essence of the fruit into each bottle of wine. Our vineyard-driven wines are intended to be the perfect complement to food and cuisine, so I prefer to not be too heavy handed in my winemaking techniques.

In other words, “terroir” dictates the final product, sun, wind, rain, land and soil are the main ingredients to produce superior fruit that with as little interference as possible, all aspects come together in harmony to produce the Loma Vista wines.
