Mission Codename Call on me, Valerie...
The lowest price in the country by $10 per bottle for a fantastic, micro-production Pinot Noir made by Benziger veteran Jeff McBride. From the Burndale Rd. area of Carneros, Valerie’s One-Acre Vineyard is an undiscovered gem at the one-time only price of $29.99. Enjoy it now, or later. It’s a wine that has some great drinking years ahead of it, if it lasts that long!
“10th vintage. Produced and bottled at Benziger Family Vineyards in Glen Ellen, Sonoma County by winemaker Jeff McBride. Aged no less than 18 months in new and twice filled French oak. Moderate garnet color in the glass. Aromas of strawberry, cherry, seasoned oak and brewed tea. Light to mid weight flavors of red cherry, strawberry, raspberry and herbs. Appealing brightness and crispness with a firm tannic backbone and a pleasing cut of acidity on the frisky finish.”
