Mission Codename Trés Chic
Rowland Tebb nailed it with their 2011 Chardonnay from Steve Matthiasson’s Michael Mara Vineyard, a tiny vineyard on a broken field of rocks where the Sonoma Coast meets Sonoma Sud. An truly amazing gem of a vineyard. Chardonnay that floats between being creamy and crunchy in all the right spots. Exquisite stuff. On par with Cru-level Chablis, or Saint-Véran. Fall majorly in love with this wine, it feels good. A necessary splurge for any righteous Chardonnay drinker. Major league taste for all types of palates with pure rock-lined deliciousness. Our highest recommendation all year for a Sonoma Coast Chardonnay with gravitas.
This wondrous Chardonnay is the anti-Kistler!
