Many people have likened today’s Flora Springs Gamut Red Wine to cult favorite wine The Prisoner from Orin Swift. While we have enjoyed The Prisoner, we feel that Gamut is fuller bodied, juicier and more structured.

This wine is a delicious 2011/2012 Bordeaux style blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. The grapes were born at the heart of Flora Springs’ historic St.Helena property. Anise, blackcurrant, plums, earth and spice are the prominent in this expressive and very delicious wine.
