Today’s wine is a robust blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, all sourced from premier regions in Napa. We’ve always loved Clif’s wines for their easygoing drinkability, but today’s wine shows a serious side that took us a bit by surprise - in a great way! The wine’s vineyard heritage and time in French oak have given it layers upon layers of flavor and complexity, something not often seen in wines under $20. The flavors beautifully coat the mouth, and leave a faint pucker along the edges of the palate, which proves an excellent complement to heartier meal pairing choices.
