Mission Codename RRV Goodness
We love winemaker Virginia Marie Lambrix and always look forward to sampling her latest offerings. And today’s wine was well worth the wait!
Today’s VML Winery 2012 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is wonderfully fruit driven, but also highlights why we enjoy great Pinot Noir so much. This varietal, more than any other, has the wonderful ability to show off a clear sense of place. Carneros, Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley: each growing region produces a unique and captivating example of this delicate varietal. Today’s wine has notes of the RRV that shine through from beginning to end, with deep hints of cherry and plum paired with soft bramble, subtle structure, and a silky soft entry.
Please enjoy our boldest recommendation for today’s gem. We guarantee you’ll love it as much as we do!
