Mission Codename A Cracker of a Pinot
Dear Operative, prepare yourselves for possibly the BEST New Zealand Pinot we’ve ever tasted. Today’s Ostler Vineyards 2010 Caroline’s Waitaki Valley Pinot Noir is just that good.
We always love finding wines that are a little off the beaten path. Especially when they’re from New Zealand and described by the winemaker as a “cracker of a wine.” We had no idea what to expect when we pulled the cork on today’s wine, but we had zero idea that it would blow us away like it did. Richly flavored with juicy fruit and soft earth, today’s wine is incredibly well balanced and hits all the right Pinot notes.
Please enjoy our boldest recommendation for today’s stunner from Down Under.
