We only bottled 40 cases of this wine, our first Petit Verdot harvest from our vineyard on the east side of Howell Mountain. The vines were only 2 ½ years old at harvest! This is a unique opportunity to get a glimpse of this wine.
This wine has rich, intense, inky-black color. The initial aromas are of blackberry and cherry mixed with beautiful oak spice. This wine opens up into a gorgeous, complexly aromatic wine with hints of sarsaparilla, pink peppercorn, red currants, and black tea leaf, with flavors of dark chocolate on the finish. The palate is nicely balanced with soft tannins and a hint of acid, perfect for pairing with a variety of foods.
