Mission Codename Dark as night
We don’t often bring you Malbecs, but when we do, they are wines that have blown us away. That’s absolutely the case with today’s 93 Pt. Bodega Atamisque 2011 Valle de Uco Malbec.
Today’s wine is a super, midnight dark red in the glass, a clear sign of the richly layered flavors to come. Almost voluptuous flavor notes of deep blackberry, sweet plum, and dusty summer earth leap out of the glass to greet you, with the intense and layered flavor profile a clear sign of the high-elevation mountain fruit that went into today’s wine.
Today’s wine + charcoal grill + meat of your choice = a recipe for a PERFECT summer evening. Cheers!
