Mission Codename Old World Charm
Aaron Pott has a well earned reputation around Wine Spies HQ as one of the top winemakers around. In fact, not too long ago we named him our top winemaker of the year. We’re happy to say today’s delicious La Tarasque Wines 2011 Old Vine Grenache more than lives up to these lofty expectations.
Today’s wine is a lovely blend of the Old World and New. Pleasant structure and terroir elements let you know this wine was crafted in France, yet juicy fruit flavors make Aaron’s training in Napa Valley shine through, as well.
We love Aaron’s wines, and believe that for under $20 there just isn’t a better value out there. Drink up, Operatives!
