Mission Codename Ritzy Neighborhood
While on a recent scouting trip through the Russian River Valley, Agent Red made it his mission to locate a wine that could go toe to toe with wines from the prestigious Williams-Selyem and J Rochioli Vineyards wineries. His mission was accomplished when he visited their nearest neighbors, HKG Wines, (formerly Hop Kiln Winery). Their 2011 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir was the gem of his scouting trip and Red secured as many cases as he could for our Pinot-loving Operatives.
Today’s wine is exceptionally soft and well balanced, and drinks well above its price class. At under $25, you simply won’t find a better Pinot for the price.
