Mission Codename The Bold and the Brooding
Today’s Atlas Peak Wines 2008 Atlas Peak Cabernet Franc marks a welcome return to Atlas Peak, who has long been known for their excellent high-elevation Cabernet Sauvignons. We are more than happy to report that their Cab Franc is equally delicious!
Super concentrated, this wine benefits greatly from decanting. After the wine is given a chance to breathe, the flavors almost jump out of the glass. A delightful balance of lush fruit, sweet earth, and subtle spice, today’s wine is a Cab Franc lover’s dream. Our tasting panel couldn’t stop raving about this wine, and were incredibly excited to try it alongside a perfectly grilled steak.
Our fearless leader Agent Red is a huge Cab Franc fan, and he gave today’s wine a resounding two-thumbs up. Be sure to stock up on this gem!
