Today’s 93 point (Master Sommelier Catherine Fallis) William Gordon Winery 2009 Alexander Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon turned out to be an extraordinary wine that we are simply crazy about. It is no wonder, as the grapes in today’s wine share a vineyard source with the likes of the widely sought-after, luxury-priced Silver Oak Winery, whose Cabernet Sauvignon fetches $75 or more. Jordan and Geyser Peak also make their top-tier wines from the same vineyard source.
