Mission Codename Dimensionally speaking
W3 is back, and boy, are our Operatives happy! W3’s 2006 vintage Cabernet was a smash hit - but today’s 2007 W3 Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon is even better. The high elevation fruit in today’s wine is simply delicious. The wine is a true, full, robust Napa Valley Cabernet that you’ll just love.
W3 Wines has the distinction of being one of our best-selling wineries of all time. For good reason, too: William White’s wines are simply incredible. Today’s 2007 W3 Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon is the finest W3 to date, delivering a wine with seemingly infinite dimension.
Today’s delicious Wine Intrigue Award Winner earned the Operatives’ Choice Award for Most requested wine of 2013! No surprise, as W3’s wines have all been fantastic. Add the 96 point score for the 2007 Napa Cab vintage and it is you that turns out to be today’s real winner!
Today’s W3 Atlas Peak Cab is altitude with attitude. The Atlas Peak appellation vineyard where this wine was born provides perfect conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Altitude, soil, stress and sunshine all combine to make this high-elevation wine the deep and extracted Cabernet Sauvignon that it is.
Flavors on the palate almost perfectly mirror the nose, giving the wine a what you smell is what you taste appeal and approachability. The wine is fully extracted, weighty and ultra deep.
With just 150 cases produced, this wine will not last very long. This may be your only opportunity to try this truly wonderful - and highly recommended wine. So please don’t miss out.
And don’t forget, the 2007 vintage was the best on record in more than a decade. Wine Spectator gave the vintage an astonishingly high 99 point score. This is another reason to stock up on this wine - and another reason why it may not last the day!
