Mission Codename The Extraordinary
Today’s Gamble Family Vineyards 2011 Yountville Sauvignon Blanc is truly extraordinary. We just wish that we had more of this wine available.
This remarkable Sauvignon Blanc was the unquestionable hit of our most recent tasting panel. We found the wine to be so fantastic that Agent Red secured as many bottles as the winery could muster. We anticipate that this wine will sell out, so please be sure to buy yours as soon as possible. And, be sure to stock up.
Today’s Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, delicious wine that has a fantastically silky mouth feel. The fruit for this gorgeous wine hails from Gamble’s own Yountville vineyard at the northern border of the Yountville appellation - which itself is situated dead-center in the Napa Valley. The vineyard’s loamy clay soils and low elevation create the perfect conditions for Sauvignon Blanc. The hills that surround the vineyard provide great shade while also trapping fog, cooling the grapes and coaxing out the classic flavors that the grape offers.
Please do not miss out on this truly extraordinary example of Sauvignon Blanc - at today’s truly extraordinary price.
