Mission Codename Unyielding Quality
Today’s Yeilding Wine 2012 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a textbook Russian River Valley Pinot Noir from two of the most sought-after vineyard sources in the Russian River Valley. Fruit from the Baccigalupi and El Diablo vineyards produce some of the finest and most prized in the Russian River Valley.
This wine has a lovely texture on the palate, with fruits that lead to an extended and very flavor-filled finish. Flavors of kola, cocoa and earth juxtapose the rich, dark fruits to give the wine a dark but balanced appeal.
The El Diablo fruit contributes to the rich, dark color of the wine while the Baccigalupi fruit gives the wine a brightness that makes it an excellent food companion.
Enjoy this very highly recommended Pinot with fowl or pork dishes - or all on its own.
