Our first release from our Estate vineyard. This is the wine that started it all for us. The vineyard was planted in 2004 on a steep hillside in Contra Costa County. Picked in early September ’09, a 4 day cold soak before innoculation. Lightly pressed over Yountville Cabernet skins. Barreled into Medium toast plus French Oak barrels. Aged for 19 months
