Mission Codename Artistically Framed
If you like Rombauer Chardonnay, you’ll love this wine - at less than half the price. Today’s 2009 Framed Chardonnay is a serious, barrel fermented wine that was obviously fermented in spare-no-expense, high end oak barrels.
Not as overwrought as some of the California Chards we have been tasting - and rejecting - today’s wine is very balanced. Flavorful and full on the palate, fruits are fresh and bright while the texture is silky and round, without being buttery or thick.
Enjoy a giant glass of this dinner wine with a variety of foods. We’ll be paring ours with stone crab with garlic aioli sauce or poached salmon with a classic cream dill sauce.
