Mission Codename RULES
Sojourn Cellars - a Wine Spectator Top 100 winery and home of California’s top-rated Pinot Noir of the year
94 and 95 points! A truly special opportunity to grab one of the best examples of SOJOURN CELLARS PINOT NOIR!
Sojourn’s Wines are highly prized and this one is no different. 94 Points from Wine Enthusiast AND 95 from International Wine Report. If lush, powerful, gutsy Pinots get your heart racing you NEED to score a few of these.
Rueling Vineyard, located between Graton and Forestville in the heart of Sonoma Coast, is small and focused on quality. They make their own wine and release fruit to a VERY select few producers.
At 44% OFF retail pricing, for a highly prized vineyard from a highly acclaimed winery, multiple excellent reviews… you are very welcome, sweet Operatives!
For those who don’t know Sojourn, Director of Winemaking Erich Bradley got his start at Arrowood and went on to make wine for Hop Kiln as well as Audelssa in Glen Ellen. He credits both Richard Arrowood and David Ramey as his mentors. His right hand and General Manager Randy Bennett cut his teeth working with Thomas Brown and Mike Smith in the caves of Nicholson Ranch where they make Schrader Cellars, Rivers-Marie, Myriad Cellars, Tamber Bey, and (of course) Nicholson Ranch.
This wine is lush, fruit forward and simply beautiful. Medium-plus in body and well structured around velvety smooth tannins, flavors of cherry cola, strawberries, raspberry licorice, herbs de Provence and fresh forest floor. This is one for the cellar for sure. The brilliant acidity and pronounced tones will only integrate more over the years. Do “future you” a favor and buy a case!
Never seen discounted so you better act fast because you won’t see this one again. Especially not at this price!
There are only so many bottles so don’t wait!
95 Points—International Wine Report “With a gorgeous bright ruby core with a glimmering neon light pink rim, the 2022 Reuling Pinot Noir from Sojourn offers up a fruit-forward style filled with aromas of sliced strawberries, candied Bing cherries, wet clay, cedary herbs, and vanilla bean. Medium-bodied with great purity, impressive balance, and plush tannins, it ends with a red-fruit and white pepper finish.”
94 Points—Wine Enthusiast “Plush and complex, this Pinot gives layers of roasted cherry, zingy raspberry, sage and cola-spice aromas on the nose. The palate is similarly complex, with flavors of deep, concentrated Bing cherry and raspberry alongside Darjeeling tea, lilacs and tangerine peel.”
