Mission Codename Super Hero
Italian heritage (and Italian grapes) combined with California sunshine and top-notch winemaking?
At over 50% off?! We are so, so, SO here for it.
Sangiovese and Cabernet lock up like Schwarzenegger and Weathers in that iconic handshake—biceps flexing, tension crackling. And off to the side, Cab Franc nods approvingly, the steady hand in the room.
Yep, the same grape squad that powers Antinori’s legendary Super Tuscan, Tignanello (just sayin’). Think Marvel’s Avengers, but in a bottle. More fun, less serious, and a lot less expensive - but still ready to pummel any wine that threatens to throw shade their way.
This Paso Robles take on the Super Tuscan style punches WAY above its $54 SRP—like a haymaker from Arnold himself. So just imagine the feeling of TRUE value at $22 that you’ll get it for today.
Super Tuscan fans, ASSEMBLE!
Le Vigne’s origin story starts with the Filippini family, who traded Italy’s Lake Como for the rolling hills of Paso Robles. Armed with generations of farming savvy, they pivoted from cattle and hay to vineyards, helping kick-start Paso’s fine wine scene back in the ’80s.
Enter winemaker Terry Culton—Paso’s own surf-turned-cellar legend. Dubbed a “top-flight winemaker” by Robert Parker, Culton swapped waves for wine and sharpened his skills at icons like Adelaida Cellars, Calera, and Peachy Canyon—racking up 90+ scores along the way.
Le Vigne named this estate-grown blend “Heart of the Vineyard,” and one sip tells you why. If this delicious red had any more “heart,” it would need to register at an organ transplant center! Sangiovese brings all the tangy, red-fruited, food-loving charm, while Paso-grown Cabernet Sauvignon layers in blackcurrant muscle and silky tannins. Cab Franc spices it up with dried herbs and dark plum, finishing with a kiss of orange zest. Crafted with Italian soul and Avengers-level skill.
Whether you’re pouring this one with Tuesday night pizza or pasta (at this price, why not?), or need an all-around super performer for dinner date night, the 2019 ‘Cuore Della Vigna’ has you covered. It’s guaranteed to please. Just don’t wait—this one won’t stick around!
