Öömrang’s 2022 vintages have produced some of our best-tasting and most elegant wines to date.

Our 2022, 2021, and 2020 vintages are our finest. The pink grapes of this crystal-clear, light straw-colored white wine lend a delicate floral aroma. With a slightly sweeter taste, it stays semi-dry on the palate, with low acidity and a long finish.

The variety was created in Rheinhessen in 1929 from a crossing of Gewürztraminer and Madeleine Angevine. It was not officially released until 1958 and was almost immediately used to beef up Rieslings from poor vineyards.
