A bountiful harvest of light loose clusters of small perfectly-ripe berries. The wine is a dark & concentrated elixir, redolent with flavors of cherry, licorice, & red currant, lusty & hedonistic. Good to go now, but cellaring will reward. Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of Cabernet Franc.
Cold soak two days open top fermenters with three daily punch-downs for two weeks then was pressed at dryness to tank. Then the wine was transferred to French barriques 40% of which were new, and was aged 22 months prior to bottling without fining or filtration.
