Sourced from the original five acres purchased in 1931, this wine is a perfect example of Zialena Cabernet Sauvignon. Our second year using our concrete, open-top, tank fermenters unique to Zialena. Dried bay leaf and pencil shaving aromas arrive on the nose backed by a hint of mixed berries. This beautiful brick-colored wine begins with minerality and is quickly followed by black cherry and a touch of white pepper. A jewel of a Cabernet, this wine finishes with a savory maltiness that lingers on the palate just long enough for you to anticipate your next sip.
