Sensory Notes: Dark ruby-red in color, this pinot noir begins with a nose of cherry cola, sasparilla, vanilla bean, and maple forest floor. On the palate, it’s a silky smooth mouthfeel with well-integrated tannins, bright acidity, and luscious red fruits.

Vineyard Notes: We carefully blended together our favorite single vineyard selections to showcase the character and complexity of Russian River Valley. The Love Vineyard and Jenkins Vineyard are the backbone of the blend, with soft round tannins and excellent acidity credited to the Jenkins portion. A touch of the Stephens Vineyard brings power to the wine from the steep hillside exposure and small, highly concentrated fruit.

Winemaking Notes: Each vineyard lot underwent cold soaks for five to seven days in open-top tanks. Punch downs were performed twice daily by hand. The wine was aged in French oak, 30% new, for 11 months. Multiple blending trials were performed to find the perfect mix of barrels for this blend.
