BUERRE. Sounds like “beurre”, the French word for butter. This definitely leans toward the richer, buttery, and hedonistic side of the spectrum without going totally overboard. It does have a bit of malo, some oak aging, and stirring of the lees, which all add some depth and richness. But it also has a glowing core of white flowers and honeysuckle, lemon curd and pineapple, baked pears, and a caramel and butterscotch layer skillfully blanketed on top.
