Mission Codename Ooo baby baby
Wowza! Our two-week-long rollout of incredible deals is done, but don’t think we’re slowing down the pace here. Many thanks for the outpouring of support - we are so excited to keep the pedal down. No rest!
Oh, and by the way - how could we forget!? Agents Red & Brix just welcomed Agent Baby - a new roommate into the world. A healthy, happy little boy that is! **Congratulations are in order.
Speaking of babies, this is the kind of sultry, baby-making, “pour some sugar on me” type juice we find irresistible. The price, incredible. The ripeness, off the charts. Even Pech Merle describes it as “tall, dark and handsome…the kind of wine that invites itself to your table to meet your mother.” Zin with a balance of Carignan and Syrah was made by John Pepe, who spent years at Beringer and Kendall-Jackson before settling down at the much more boutique Pech Merle. The San Francisco Chronicle noted “John makes their Zinfandels on the riper side of the spectrum — so if you like that style, these will certainly hit the mark.”
We know you like that style. Hailing entirely from a high-elevation gnarly old-vines single-vineyard in Mendo, simply put, it’s jammin’ good juice.
Literally. Take your mom’s summer berry pie, the one filled with raspberry, blackberry, and blueberries, and put it in a blender with a little cocoa powder, baking spices, Madagascar vanilla bean, and balsamic glaze. Figuratively, we mean. Your mom would NOT appreciate that sort of literal pie desecration. But she would LOVE this ripe easy drinking Zinfandel. And a phone call, too. Or better yet grab some ground beef, tasty sides, and head over to her house to chef up some smashburgers and pour her a glass.
We’re crushing on this one, big time. You’ll love it too, assuming you enjoy big, ripe, fruit-forward wines. Massive crowd-pleasing potential here for the money! Wrap your arms around as many bottles as you can, and hold on tight.
